The Bones & Co. is a small start-up, run by 3 completely dog-obsessed Austinites. We handcraft raw Ketogenic dog food, and are completely dedicated to changing the way the world thinks about dog food. Growing at a rapid rate, we are looking to expand our tribe with Demo Influencers in Texas & California!
Demo reps (contractor) are the driving force behind The Bones & Co., an up and coming start-up. Their sole mission is to educate and inspire the community through proactive, meaningful conversations. Converting customers, building relationships, giving product samples, leading trainings and presentations, and running tabling events are just a few examples of their activities.
Under the direction of our Marketing Manager, a Demo Influencer will be responsible for:
Scheduling product demonstrations at local retail pet supply stores
Presenting samples and marketing assets to consumers in retail stores or events
Promoting and educating customers on raw food benefits
This person is outgoing and able to engage and convert customers quickly. We LOVE people who love dogs and aren't afraid to show it! If you're ready to get out there, become a dog advocate, and be a part of a dog food revolution, we want you to join our tribe.
This will start as a flexible contractor position, estimated 5-15 hours a month to start, with the opportunity to increase hours based on performance. Start date: ASAP
Must be available for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per month, including weekends, weekdays and evenings. Shifts range from 3-5 hours each, estimated.

Compensation can be partially provided in the form of the of the best dog food money can buy!

Since we are a fast-growing start-up, every team member is expected to be open and willing to wear multiple hats.
While this position will be primarily focused on tabling, training, and demo events, the below list of responsibilities may be expanded to include other duties as needs arise.
Proactively advocate B&C’s mission
Train retail staff, distributor reps, and consumers on raw feeding, B&C products, the benefits of Keto for dogs
Increase sales and generate brand awareness at retail locations
Capture consumer information during every event (i.e. emails)
Establish and build relationships with local distributor reps, community influencers, and retail teams
Conduct inspiring and informative demonstrations that gives consumers a complete understanding of our Keto-friendly food
Implement merchandising and branding standards in region’s stores
Conduct sales calls and reports weekly
Fulfill other marketing duties as needed
Schedule, prioritize, follow-up, and execute all events
Take note of competitor offerings and changes
Have strong public speaking AND presentation skills in front of large groups
Be a fast learner (you will become a B&C expert in product offerings, our story, our ingredients, sourcing, etc.)
Be outgoing, empathetic, and loves sparking conversations with new people
Have at least 1 year of sales experience with documented success
Have an ability to self-manage
Be results-driven and timely
Have a good driving record (and be able to travel)
Have access to a computer and cell phone
Be able to stand, walk, handle objects, set up tabling gear, lift up to 30 lbs, talk, and hear.
Be a raw feeder or experience with raw feeding
Have raw food industry knowledge
Have a moderate to advanced knowledge of pet nutrition
Have some knowledge of raw feeding, related benefits, and common questions
Have an understanding of the benefits of Ketogenic food for dogs
